Common questions

Is the water test really free?

Yes. The in-home test is free and there is no obligation to buy anything. One of the owners tests your water at the kitchen sink for hardness and dissolved solids, and you keep the results either way.

How much does the system cost?

One flat price covers the whole package: the seven-layer whole-home filter, the under-sink reverse osmosis unit, installation and sales tax. You get that price in writing at the test, and Blue Logic matches any comparable written quote from a provider inside its service area.*

How do I compare this to other quotes?

A cheaper quote is usually a softener, sometimes with a carbon tank added for taste. A softener trades calcium and magnesium for sodium, so it treats hardness and leaves the rest of the water alone. The seven-layer media filter takes out chlorine, iron and manganese along with the taste and the smell, and the under-sink reverse osmosis handles drinking water. Installation and sales tax are included in the one written price. If you find a written quote for a comparable system from a provider in the service area, Blue Logic matches it.*

I already have a water softener. Do I need this?

A softener handles hardness and nothing else. The Blue Logic filter softens and also takes out chlorine, iron, manganese and the taste and smell, and the under-sink RO handles drinking water. If a softener is genuinely all your water needs, the test will show that, and Blue Logic will say so.

What areas do you cover?

The Wasatch Front, about 50 miles around Murray: Ogden down to Santaquin, out to Park City and Grantsville. If your address is a little outside that, book anyway and Blue Logic will tell you what they can do.

Will I be pressured to buy?

No. You are never obligated to buy, and you will not be surprised by a number. The price is written, it is yours to keep, and whether you go ahead, and when, is your call. Say no and we will thank you for your time.

How is the appointment scheduled?

You pick the time yourself on the next screen, weekdays 9 to 5. The visit takes about an hour, and Blue Logic sends the confirmation and a reminder.
